Chief Underwriting Counsel
Angelo DelliCarpini received a B.A. from Fordham University in 1993 and a J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 1997. He started his law career with Tognini & Grossbarth, LLP, concentrating in the field of real estate. His duties included drafting contracts of sale, attending closings, reviewing title insurance, and drafting closing documents. In February of 2000, Angelo joined the law office of Jon B. Felice as an associate, concentrating in the areas of real estate transactions, land- lord-tenant and foreclosure. He was managing associate in the firm’s closing department representing lenders, purchasers and sellers. He negotiated and reviewed contracts of sale as well as reviewing title binders and representing lenders in connection with financing and refinancing of cooperatives, condominiums and residential properties. In 2003, Angelo joined Judicial as counsel in our legal department.
Russ heads our out of state transactions. He began his legal career with the law firm of Gioffre & Gioffre PC concentrating in the areas of real estate, zoning and land use. He has represented developers, businesses, and homeowners in all facets of the land use review and approval process. He is a member of the Westchester Municipal Planning Federation and a member of the Municipal Law Section of the Westchester County Bar Association and has assisted in the drafting of legislation adopted by local governments. Russ is an accredited CLE provider; is admitted in New York and Connecticut.
Ruth joined Judicial Title in July of 1996 after twelve years of private practice as an attorney in Westchester County concentrating in the area of real property law and all types of real estate transactions. Ruth started in the legal department of Judicial Title as a reader and performed open clearance. She also originated the Quality Control Committee, training and supervising proof readers. Additionally, she was Chief Counsel of Weathervane Title for 5 years. Ruth became an Account Director in January of 2003 and has since become one of Judicial’s most successful representatives with vast experience handling all types of complex transactions throughout the New York Metropolitan area.
Sheldon is a senior member of Judicial Title’s in-house closing staff. In 1970, Sheldon began a general private practice in Westchester County, concentrating on real estate matters for builders and private homeowners. In 1996, he joined the staff of Judicial Title. Since then, he has developed an expertise in representing the clients of Judicial Title at commercial closings including private transactional matters and NYC HPD closings. His particular strengths are in the areas of complex commercial mortgage financing. Sheldon possesses an acute understanding of the myriad details involved with housing and building regulations of New York City.
Tina has been employed by Judicial Title for 25 years, one of our most loyal and dedicated employees. She started her law career with Judicial as a title reader until she was admitted to practice in 1984. Since 1984 she has been of counsel to several small firms and concentrates in the practice of real estate law, representing developers, mortgage lenders, commercial and residential clients. Tina is currently a closer with Judicial Title. Her real estate practice keeps her up to date on all aspects of real estate transactions.
Melissa Renzo started with us in 1994 as an intern while pursuing a Paralegal Degree from Berkeley College. She was hired full time immediately upon completion of studies. Melissa’s experience at Judicial includes handling miscellaneous searches, heading up the closing department for three and a half years and subsequently she has been a member of our Legal Department for seven years. She is familiar with all aspects of the title process and all documents involved. Additionally, Melissa is one of our in-house closers, which gives her first-hand knowledge of the closing process. Melissa is committed to delivering the best customer service and her experience at Judicial Title has provided her with the tools to handle title problems or answer any title questions.
Sara Gorman began her career with Judicial Title in 1992. Prior to joining the Judicial Team Sara spent five years as an independent title examiner in Westchester County. Sara started in our recording department as a clerk and later on as supervisor. She transferred to the escrow department, where she maintained and managed the escrow accounts. Sara has been with the legal department since September 2001. Sara’s twenty eight years of experience in the real estate/title field has provided her with the expertise to assist you in solving your title problems and providing prompt and accurate answers to your title questions.
Jacqueline Fitzpatrick has been an employee of Judicial Title since 1993. She received a BA in Psychology from Iona College. Jackie is a veteran of Judicial’s Recording, Escrow and Legal Departments. Additionally, Jackie is also a very experienced closer, which is the kind of hands-on experience that will assist her in handling any title situation. Jackie brings to her position a positive attitude and strong knowledge of the title industry.
Raymond Di Paoli began his career as a general practitioner and became a partner in the law firm of Castoria, Ferrara, Kerzner & Di Paoli. Pursuing his interest in real estate, he entered the title industry in 1981 and trained at Chicago Title Insurance Company under the tutelage of Bill Colavito, Esq. Thereafter, he worked as Counsel with Peter Brogan, Esq. at InterCounty Abstract, and went on to become Senior Counsel. InterCounty became Chicago Title’s #1 agent in NY State in 1986, during Raymond’s tenure. In 1987, Raymond formed Pioneer Land Title Corp. After a successful run, he joined STG Associates in 1994, where he was Counsel and Fidelity Vice President. He became top salesperson at the Agency. Joining the dynamic team at Judicial Title Agency, LLC, he is now a Counsel and Senior Account Director.
Charlie received a B.A. in Communications from Marist College in 1991. He attended law school as an evening student while working full time and received a JD from Pace University in 2000. During law school, he interned in the Legal Department of PepsiCo and gained valuable experience in the areas of real estate and land use, commercial and corporate transactions, and mergers and acquisitions. Following graduation from Law School, Charlie worked at the Law Office of Donald Henry in White Plains where he worked on litigation and appellate matters as well as real estate transactions. In May 2001, Charlie was admitted to the bar in New York and started his career with Judicial Title. Charlie worked in Judicial’s legal department for seven years. In 2008, he began working at Thoroughbred Title as Chief Counsel. Charlie rejoined the Judicial team in 2015 as Assistant Chief Counsel. Charlie’s 14 years of experience in the title business has equipped him to handle complex residential and commercial title and clearance issues. He is excited to get reacquainted with Judicial’s clients and provide outstanding service.
Louis Leonardi began his career with Judicial Title in 2002. Louis is a member of our Legal Department, is assistant director of our National Title Services Department and is a skilled title closer. He has well-rounded knowledge of the title industry having also worked in our applications, production and survey departments. In addition to his impressive background, Louis has extraordinary customer service skills and is always willing to go the extra mile to assure a great overall experience.
Irene Foley is a member of Judicial Title’s Legal Department working out of our Riverhead office. She has over 15 years of experience in the title industry. Irene’s well rounded knowledge paired with her attention to detail, facilitate an enjoyable and smooth closing process. She is eager to assist our clients with their title needs and is passionate about developing and maintaining strong working relationships.
