Commencing on January 14, 2015, Nassau County will require verification of the Section, Block, and Lot on all of the following instruments:

Such verification comes in the form of a letter form the Assessor’s office. Known as, “TMVL,” instruments presented without such a letter will not be accepted for recording.
A tax map verification letter can be obtained in the following ways:
If an instrument covers multiple lots, the main lot should be entered so that there is only one verification letter and one administrative fee.
Commencing on March 1, 2015, Nassau will charge a $75 administrative fee for the issuance of a verification letter. Please note that this is a County fee. Judicial Title has not increased recording charges in any way. As always, Judicial Title will assist you in obtaining these verification letters.
